Desperados, a tequila-flavoured lager beer, have been throwing parties in obscure locations to promote their product. Their latest event took over the world’s deepest pool, Y-40 in Venice which can hold an enormous 43 million litres of water.
The party featured popular house DJs Peggy Gou and Artwork, with an exclusive track being produced by Artwork for promotional purposes.
Desperados offered guests the opportunity to jump into bespoke diving suits that allowed them to hear the music whilst under water. Those not-so-adventurous could still enjoy the multi-sensory experience from inside a dry underwater viewing tunnel, which also doubled as the DJ booth.
Desperados — a Heineken-owned brand — has previously thrown similar party activations such as Sound Stage: Watt The Frequence with KiNK, a hot air balloon ‘electronic light orchestra’, and Bass Drop: a party onboard a plane at zero gravity.
