JetBlue Card launched an Instagram video contest asking potential travelers to create a video telling JetBlue Card which city they live in and why they needed to ‘flip their forecast’.
To promote the competition, they installed 2x Airstream trailers in separate locations fitted with livestream video booths and a little bit of gamification: a bit button, some screens and confetti that falls from the roof.
Potential travelers jumped into a booth in their city, and insert an oversized JetBlue Card prop into the booth. They are then paired with a person in another city. They then have to convince the other person to accept a flight to their city. If successful, they both win flights to the the others’ city.
