Audi have announced the launch of a new mixed reality customer experience, showing up in a select number of Irish dealerships.
The platform gets under the hood of the new Audi A7, allowing customers the opportunity to engage with holographic digital content. Rather than immersing the customer entirely via a VR headset, the Hololens technology gives customers the freedom to look and move around the Audi showroom while augmented content appears in their field of view.
Customers are guided through the experience by a 3D holographic character named Simone, as she provides further details on the Audi technology as well as assisting customers to interact with the various pieces of content.
